I think that this is a wonderful concept because i think it is a more actuate representation of people in society. I think because of globalization and the rate at which people can communicate with others makes it inevitable that our cultures will influence each other more rapidly then in our history. I know this is more apparent in some areas then others but the more i learn about other cultures and see how they have developed, the more I see the influences other cultures have had on their community. The logic makes sense but I still don't see people putting aside using their race or nationality as a definer of who they are. I think part of it may be people want to use this as a definer as a sign of respect to their ancestry.
